Incoming freshman admission requirements
Wayne State is a great option for Canadian students geographically, financially and academically. We have a good-neighbor policy for students who live in Ontario so you can get in-state Michigan tuition rates. So, what does it take to be admitted as a high school senior?
- You have a combined 68 percent or better with six U or M courses; or a GPA between 62 and 67.5 percent and a minimum SAT score of 990.
- We don’t consider C-level courses for admission
- You must have taken one U- or M-level English course each year in high school
- All of your additional documentation must be official, attested or in its original form (including test scores)
- As an international applicant, you must meet Wayne State’s English proficiency requirements
