Student services
Grab your magnifying glass because we're about to take a deeper look into just some of the most frequently used and well-known services for you on our campus.
Academic Success Center
You get the idea from the name of the department, right? These are the folks who can help you perform better in the classroom. They offer many valuable services including tutoring opportunities and success workshops.
OneCard (your student ID)
Make it official! Get your OneCard so you can show everyone (including your professor) that you're a Wayne State student. Not only does it have your picture on it, you can use it like a debit card. Load money on to it and use it around campus instead of cash or a credit card. Get discounts at participating retail and restaurant venues. The possibilities are almost endless!
Parking and Transportation Services
Need to know how and where to park around campus? It's really not difficult. Look up parking maps, fees and structures to get acquainted with the university.
Student Disability Services (SDS)
At Wayne State we want all of our students to have access to the university. SDS empowers students with disabilities to fulfill their academic goals by giving you the tools you need to succeed. Contact the SDS office if you need their assistance.
University Advising Center (UAC)
Academic advisors can help you choose classes and follow a plan of work so you graduate on time. The UAC advisors meet with all CFPCA, CLAS and many pre-professional students. If you're majoring in business, education or engineering contact the individual school/college advisors for academic advising.
WSU Police Department
Our police officers are available on campus 24/7/365 and will always come to your aid when you need them. Students, faculty and staff also pre-program their phones with the WSU Emergency police phone number (313) 577-2222 so they can reach the police department at any time.
