How to apply
Use this checklist to make sure you submit all of the information we need to complete your application.
- Complete the undergraduate guest application.
- Attach your non-refundable $30 application fee ($50 for international students) in the form of a check or money order payable to Wayne State University (we don't accept cash). Checks drawn on foreign banks should carry the notation "Payable in US funds, plus service charges."
- Take your completed application to your Registrar’s Office to have it signed and officially stamped by your home institution. This provides us with the information necessary for your admission decision.
- Mail the completed application and application fee to us. We will not accept a faxed application as official.

Domestic students:
Aug. 1 - fall semester (Sept. - Dec.)
Dec. 1 - winter semester (Jan. - April)
April 1 - spring/summer semesters (May - Aug.)
International students:
May 1 - fall semester (Sept. - Dec.)
Sept. 1 - winter semester (Jan. - April)
Jan. 2 - spring/summer semesters (May - Aug.)
