Post-Bachelor How to Apply

  1. Complete the Post-Bachelor student application online or download a pdf version. Please read the section on the application titled "Important Information and Restrictions" for additional information.
  2. Submit the nonrefundable $30 application fee ($50 for international students), check or money order, made payable to "Wayne State University." Checks drawn on foreign banks should carry the notation "Payable in US funds, plus service charges."
  3. Submit proof of degree (copy of degree-posted transcript or diploma)
  4. International students and permanent residents of the US who are non-native speakers of English must submit proof of English Language Proficiency. Proof of proficiency is a noncomputer-based TOEFL score of 550, computer-based TOEFL score of 213 or MELAB score of 85 AND a score of 5.5 on the TWE (Test of Written English) and Oral Proficiency Exam.

Suggested Application Dates

Post-Bachelor Students:

Aug. 1 - Fall semester (September – December)

Dec. 1 - Winter semester (January – April)

April 1 - Spring/Summer semesters (May – August)
