WSU - Making Our Diversity an Educational Asset
The Fifth Annual Student Academic Success Summit was held on Monday, April 9, 2007, and Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Wayne State University, McGregor Conference Center. The topic was: WSU - Making Our Diversity an Educational Asset, and was sponsored by Wayne State University through the Provost's office.The program featured Drs. Katrina Wade-Golden and John Matlock, well-known educational leaders from the University of Michigan and Dr. Frank Wu of Wayne State University’s Law School.
Statement of Purpose for the 2007 Summit
Wayne State University is among the most diverse public research universities in the nation, which is a tremendous educational asset. The goal of the 2007 Student Academic Success Summit was to explore ways in which our diversity could be better utilized to enhance the educational programs of the university.
