Ready to apply? Follow these simple instructions to submit your application to Wayne State.
Application checklist for transfer students
- Complete the appropriate undergraduate application online or download a PDF to mail.
- Submit the appropriate non-refundable application fee by check or money order ($30 for domestic students and $50 for international students). We don't accept cash. If applying online, you can pay the application fee using Discover, MasterCard, Visa or American Express only.
- Request all of your official transcripts be mailed by any college, community college or university you have attended. If you need to have your final high school transcript sent as well, contact your high school’s guidance office to have it mailed to our office.
- Expect to hear from us four to six weeks after submitting your application materials regarding any missing items and/or your admission status.
If you are applying to a major in music or dance, you must schedule an audition with the department.

Aug. 1 - fall semester (Sept. - Dec.)
Dec. 1 - winter semester (Jan. - April)
May 1 - spring/summer semesters (May - Aug.)
International students:
May 1 - fall semester (Sept. - Dec.)
Sept. 1 - winter semester (Jan. - April)
Jan. 2 - spring/summer semesters (May - Aug.)
